In a crowded market, Lenovo is hoping to stand out with their soon the be released business tablet called the ThinkPad 10. It is difficult to gain any real traction in the tablet market as there are many cheap options around. Even the most popular tablet, the Apple iPad, has not seen any growth.
Lenovo therefore needs to produce something really special to make a dent in market share. The Lenovo ThinkPad 10 inch tablet is targeted as a business friendly tablet with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution IPS screen. The screen also allows for a viewing angle of 180 degrees and supports multitouch. The device is powered by a quad core Intel Atom Z3795 processor.
The device will come with either 2GB or 4GB of RAM on board as well as hard drive memory options of 64GB or 128GB.
In terms of operating system, the ThinkPad 10 will utilise Windows 8.1 32 bit with some models pre-loaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student.
